💬 Not Happy with the Listed Prices? Request a Custom Quote

We understand that every business has unique volume requirements, budget constraints, and sourcing needs. If our standard wholesale pricing doesn't work for you, we welcome you to submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) — and we'll work with you to find a price that makes sense for both sides.

How to submit an "Add to Quote" request:

  1. Browse any product page on knitsilk.eu.
  2. Click the "Add to Quote" button (visible on product pages when you are logged in to your wholesale account).
  3. Add all the products and quantities you need to your quote basket.
  4. Go to your Quote Basket and fill in any special requirements — target price, delivery timeline, custom quantities, or specific colourways.
  5. Submit your RFQ. Our team will review and respond within 2–3 business days with a personalised offer.

What you can request in a custom quote:

  • Negotiated pricing for large or recurring volume orders
  • Custom colour or fibre blends (subject to MOQ)
  • Bundled product assortments at a combined rate
  • Long-term supply agreements with fixed pricing
  • Sample requests before committing to a full order
  • Special packaging or labelling requirements

Please note: Custom quotes are subject to availability and minimum quantity thresholds. Quoted prices are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Knitsilk reserves the right to decline any RFQ that falls below our cost floor.

Prefer to discuss directly? Email us at mehta@knitsilk.com with your requirements and we'll get back to you promptly.

After 3 orders

Account upgraded to auto-order status. Future orders processed automatically without manual approval.

PART TWO — FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Getting Started

Q: Who is eligible for Knitsilk's European wholesale programme?

Our European wholesale programme is open to yarn and craft retailers, fabric distributors, textile artisans, fibre arts studios, online resellers, spa and wellness brands, and independent makers and hobbyists across the EU, EEA, and UK. Registered businesses must provide a valid VAT or national business registration number. Independent artisans and crafters are welcome without formal business registration.

Q: How do I apply for a wholesale account?

Submit your enquiry via the B2B application form on knitsilk.com or email mehta@knitsilk.com. Our team will review your application within 2 business days. Once approved, wholesale prices appear automatically on all product pages when you are logged in — no discount codes needed.

Q: What is the minimum order value for European buyers?

The minimum opening order value is €210 EUR (approximately ₹19,000 INR or USD $225). This applies to your combined cart total, not to individual products. Reorders must be at least 60% of your opening order value.

Q: How does the approval process work for new accounts?

Your first three orders are subject to manual review by the Knitsilk team. After your first three approved orders, your account is upgraded to auto-order status — all subsequent orders are processed automatically.

Ordering & Payment

Q: What payment methods are available for European buyers?

We accept international credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, SEPA bank transfers for EU-based buyers, SWIFT wire transfers, and Payment Links. Letters of Credit are available for established wholesale accounts. UPI and Cash on Delivery are not available for international orders.

Q: In which currency will I be invoiced?

EU and EEA buyers are invoiced in EUR (€). UK buyers may request GBP (£) invoicing. PayPal handles currency conversion automatically if paying through the main knitsilk.com store.

Q: Can I reorder easily?

Yes. Log in to your account, go to Order History, and click Reorder on any previous order. All items and quantities are added to your cart instantly.

Q: I ordered the wrong quantity or colour. What should I do?

Email mehta@knitsilk.com as quickly as possible before fulfilment begins. If the order has already shipped, we will assist you through our standard resolution process.

Custom Quotes & RFQ

Q: What if I'm not happy with the listed wholesale prices?

We understand that every business has different needs. If our standard pricing doesn't work for your budget or volume, you can submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) directly from any product page using the "Add to Quote" button. Our team will review your request and respond with a personalised offer within 2–3 business days.

Q: How does the "Add to Quote" feature work?

When you are logged in to your wholesale account, you will see an "Add to Quote" button on product pages. Click it to add items to your quote basket, then go to your Quote Basket to specify quantities, target prices, and any special requirements. Submit the RFQ and our team will get back to you with a tailored offer.

Q: What can I include in a custom quote request?

You can request negotiated pricing for large or recurring orders, custom colour or fibre blends (subject to MOQ), bundled product assortments, long-term supply agreements, sample requests, or special packaging and labelling requirements.

Q: How long is a custom quote valid?

All custom quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be subject to change. Please confirm your order within the validity window to lock in the quoted price.

Shipping & Customs

Q: How long does delivery take to Europe?

European wholesale orders are processed and dispatched within 15–20 business days of payment confirmation. DHL and FedEx express options typically reach most EU countries within 5–10 business days after dispatch. India Post EMS is a slower, more economical alternative.

Q: Who pays customs duties and import VAT?

All EU customs duties, import taxes, and VAT on importation are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Knitsilk ships on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. Please check applicable duty rates (HS codes 5004–5007) with your national customs authority before ordering.

Q: Is sea freight available for large orders?

Yes. For orders over 10 kg, sea freight is available on request. Contact mehta@knitsilk.com to discuss lead times and pricing.

Q: What if my parcel is lost or damaged in transit?

For lost parcels, contact the carrier with your tracking number first, then email us. For damaged items, notify us within 7 days with photographs. We resolve confirmed defects via replacement or store credit.

Third-party marketplace listings require prior written approval from Knitsilk. Please contact mehta@knitsilk.com with your marketplace details.

Q: Can I use Knitsilk product photographs on my website and social media?

Yes, with clear brand attribution (e.g. "Photo: Knitsilk"). You may not alter images or use them to misrepresent the product.
